(Chapter one)


I didn't know how to handle this. I mean about a month ago I was happily with my girlfriend, the next I'm this vampire named Valchrist's slave treat! I had to sign that contract now I had a year to live, each day praying he never go a  hunger for anyone else. If he did that, I'd die instantly. Valchrist has started pulling me around on all these insane trips with him. One of them was just insane as them all, he said he had someone he had to meet. I was getting worried that this was a new treat he wanted instead of me.

We'd arrived at a shop in San Antonio, Texas. I wonder what the hell he wanted in Texas, but I had no choice but to fallow. The Riverwalk mall was closed and all the river side shops too. It was midnight, I wondered what the heck he wanted after dark. I fallowed him down the river, until we reached a shop that's neon was still glowing. It read "Think Ink". "A tattoo parlor?" I asked "what? You want us to get matching tattoos?" I asked sarcastically. Valchrist laughed "I have an old friend that owns this place, I hadn't seen her in years. It's time I checked in on her Chis." he laughed, this was strange. Did he have a girlfriend?

He reached to the door "Won't it be locked?" I asked him. "Not for long," He smiled showing his fangs. The door clicked and opened. "She'll be on the top floor," He told me and we climbed. Once we reached the top I heard music, it was something that sound celtic. Just violins and pipes. We peeked into the open door and saw a girl perched on a high stool drawing on a canvis. She'd sometimes look out the window, I imagined over the river walk. Valchrist knocked on the door "mind if I drop in Sherry?" he chuckled. The girl froze, her pencil fell from her hand. I gulped, she looked over at him. Her hair was short, but flipped to one side with neon green and blue highlights. She had the most beautiful green/blue eyes. She gritted her teeth "YOU BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"  She yelled an reached under the canvas, she pulled out quite the high powered gun. She fired at Valchrist and shot him back.

She ran over to where he landed and cocked the gun again. Valchrist's hand shot up and clenched her throat. He threw he back and she landed hard on the floor. I flinched, that had to hurt. Valchrist laughed "Come on you brat, how would your master feel if he saw you this way?" he mocked her. He looked up at him and grabbed a silver spike from her pants pocket "I dunno, on your way to hell why don't you ask him!" She lept up and ran at him. he grabbed her neck as she reached him. He held her high againts the wall. "Now, about what I wanted," he smiled at her, she kicked around still fighting
